01 Jun 2022, Singapore – Digital Treasures Center (“DTC”), a Singapore-based payment company, has entered into a partnership with V5 Philippines Corp (“V5”) to power faster and cheaper remittance payments in Southeast Asia. With the signing of a Collaboration Agreement, this strategic move marks DTC’s ambition to become the leading payment gateway in the region.
Under the Agreement, both parties will share their resources and capabilities in the areas of product research and development, especially with regard to cross-border remittance services. Both parties will bring to the table their own unique strengths and competitive advantages to provide faster, cheaper and better remittance and payment to the regional countries.
DTC will empower V5 to expand into new markets such as Singapore and allow V5 to integrate its existing products and services with DTC’s industry-leading payment solutions. DTC will also be able to leverage on V5’s market network in Philippines where V5 has strong foothold and an extensive business network. This will facilitate DTC to expand its reach beyond Singapore and set its foot in Philippines.
